Abstract
The gastric epithelial dysplasia is a precursor lesion for the development of gastric carcinoma, wich makes it a very important pathology to evaluate in the general population, hystorically there's been diferent attempts to standardize the classification and management, but without reaching a general consensus internationally. There is an special importance in the evidence herein described, wich envelops the experience in the San Juan de Dios Hospital and how it demonstrates that there is a need for both public and institutional politics to be able to make a significant impact in the suvival rates of this patients.Comments
