Abstract
This article analyzes the cinematography of masturbation in the films Barbarella (Roger Vadim, 1968) and Ixcanul (Jayro Bustamante, 2015) with two types of sexuality unfold that, although they seem opposite and anachronistic, converge in the production of an erotizing speech about female sexuality. This speech will be examined by questioning the production of the look, the degrees of visibility in the scenes and the masturbatory representation inside the film.
