Abstract
From the perspective of Gadamer’s hermeneutics, themes like prejudice, tradition and authority are valued in a way which can be understood and explained from a perspective of difference. Gadamer’s pretension consisted on one hand to rehabilitate their cognitive worth and on the other, to recognize them as a constitutive part of history. This, among other things, assuming a critical and different perspective to the negative and underestimated vision that prevails since the Illustration and is current today regarding these themes.Comments
