Abstract
In Thomas Müntzer´s works we can locate elements of a political theology in the sense developed by Carl Schmitt in his concept of the political, which differs from the approaches found in the classical theories of political philosophy. The political is based on the concepts of the sovereign and the friendenemy dualism. Political theology, on the other hand, develops its concepts with elements from the theological discourse, but keeping a political meaning. In his theological writings, the preacher of Allsted highlights such political concepts – which justified the peasant wars of Germany
