Abstract

This article aims to perform an exploratory work on some philosophical aspects present in the work Minima Moralia by Th. W. Adorno. Of the richness and multiplicity of its content, the intention is to rescue the main elements related to its critique of value as a totalizing reality, accounting for the concrete consequences manifested in people’s lives and the affordable possibilities to overcome such a state. It is based on the hypothesis that Minima Moralia constitutes a central element of the critique of value in Adorno’s version. First, the context of the publication of Adorno’s book is presented. The role of experience in the thinker’s writing and critical thinking is highlighted below. Then the importance of the theory of appearance and real inversion in the understanding of reality. The paper closes with an analysis of the objective possibilities of transcending the given and the role of happiness in Critical Theory.
