Abstract
Usually in the academic world that deals with the tought of India, it is normal affirm that in the four Vedas there is no philosophy. We would have to wait for the emergence of the Upaniṣad for us to be before the philosophical phenomenon, a phenomenon that would later develop the six classical dars̓anas. However, a
reading of the Ṛg Veda shows us a series hymns before which we can seriously ask ourselves to what extent what we read there is no genuine philosophy.
