Yo sigo siendo el rey: La representación de la violencia en el cine de mujeres en Centroamérica

Abstract

Based on a corpus of films by Central American women directors, we analyze the various forms of violence against women.
Child abuse, domestic aggression, institutional violence and even femicide are some of the multiple forms of violence suffered by women in the region that are represented on screen.
