Abstract
Staphylococcus aureus is a germ that causes severe infections that endanger the lives of patients. Bacteremia is one of the most serious presentations of this type of infection with an approach and treatment that is often complex and incomplete. Selection of antibiotic therapy, duration, and serum antibiotic levels are often empirically and speculatively determined, often leading to therapeutic failures. The concomitant use of oxacillin and vancomycin, while obtaining the sensitivity profile, is a good option to start treatment.Comments
