Abstract

Abstract: College-bound students can be vulnerable when making decisions. In this sense, many of them could be inclined towards the adoption of inappropriate behaviors with their health. In this way, a lifestyle characterized by harmful habits would negatively influence both their physical and psychological well-being. Also, this would be detrimental to their academic performance. The student can erroneously opt for sedentary behaviors, an eating imbalance, a poor quality of sleep, harmful habits and mental disorders such as anxiety and depression. Given the above, the recommended measures for students would be: first, physical activity, in order to improve productivity, mood, reduces stress and the probability of developing diseases; second, eat a healthy diet; third, it is essential to plan and order daily activities; and fourthly, avoid procrastination.  An appropriate lifestyle would be a recommended option for its benefits.
