Abstract
The male allotype of Triatoma rickmani Zeledón y Ponce, 1972 is described. One specimen was found in Arado, Guanacaste province, Costa Rica. The insect was hiden under the bark of a guanacaste tree (Enterolobium cyclocarpum), approximately 1.5 m above ground.
