Abstract
Identification keys, color descriptions and photographs including different color phases are provided for the wrasses of the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. Fifteen of the approximately 30 species of eastern Pacific labrids are known from Costa Rica. Recent synonyms and aids to juvenile identification are given.References
