Abstract
A study on the length distribution, monthly growth increments and mortality was conducted in the freshwater clam Glabaris luteolus at 28 Millas, in the Atlantic region of Costa Rica. The results are compared with those obtained in a similar study in a dry Pacific region at Cañas, Guanacaste, both areas being highly different with regard to environmental temperature and precipitation.References
