Lista provisional de los peces marinos de la Costa Pacífica de Costa Rica

Abstract

A list of marine coastal fishes of the Pacific coast of Costa Rica is presented for the first time. Species actually present in the University of Costa Rica collection are distinguished from species reported in the literature from Costa Rica or adjoining regions. Distributions along the continental coastline are included. Numerous undescribed species are among those listed.
