Análisis de 25 casos de enfermedad hemolítica tratados con exsanguinotransfusión

Abstract

A brief summary is made of the advantages of ex sanguino transfusion as treatment for newborn's hemolytic disease. The technique used in ex sanguino transfusion is described. Twenty-five cases of newborn's hemolytic disease are described, twelve of them due to Rho and hr', incompatibility, twelve to ABO incompa­tibility, and one of unknown etiology. Mortality in the· 25 cases trated with ex sanguino transfusion has been of 8 per cent.
