Resumen
Se presenta una lista sistemática de los equinodermos del Caribe Centroamericano, incluyendo el archipiélago de San Andrés, basada en los especimenes del Museo Nacional de Historia Natural, del Instituto Smithsonian, Washington D.C., la colección de Zoología de Invertebrados y Geología de la Academia de Ciencias de California, San Francisco, el Museo de Zoología, Universidad de Costa Rica, San José, Costa Rica, la literatura e internet. Se registró un total de 253 especies de equinodermos en 142 géneros, 63 familias y 27 órdenes. La clases Ophiuroidea (79 especies) y Asteroidea (56 especies) son las más diversas. Panamá (154 especies) y Belice (131 especies) muestran las mayores diversidades de equinodermos.Citas
