Abstract
This article explores the extent of registral fraud on properties and its different modes of consumation, as well as diverse solutions brought about by civil and penal Tribunals in our Supreme Court of Justice based or supported upon two counteracting models such as the Torrens system and the system of securities’ insurance. Current transactional costs and the characteristics of an economically effective system for Costa Rica, do sustain the approaches and proposals the author provides on a future agenda in the country.
