Resumen

Es innegable que el uso indiscriminado y no regulado de la IA generativa está teniendo efectos relevantes en el bienestar de diversos grupos de interés. El argumento central del artículo hará énfasis en uno de ellos: el gremio de las artes y sus productos artísticos. Se planteará un análisis ético a través del método de la matriz ética (Mepham, 2013; O’Neil y Gunn, 2020) como base para una potencial regulación adecuada, evidenciando los efectos de una acción sobre todos los distintos grupos de interés relevantes desde la perspectiva de tres criterios éticos tradicionales: (1) el bienestar, la autonomía y la justicia (Mepham, 2013). La matriz resultante esclarece que, a pesar de un marcado beneficio para los clientes, quienes reducen costos y aumentan eficiencia, en términos de justicia y autonomía la mayoría de grupos de interés encuentran desventajas significativas por el uso no regulado e indiscriminado de IA generativa para fines artísticos.
