Resumen
El argumento del ajuste fino sugiere que el universo es obra de una inteligencia, comúnmente identificada como Dios, no comprometiéndose a demostrar todos sus atributos. Este artículo analiza su papel en el teísmo, el deísmo y el ateísmo, enfocándose en dos versiones clave: los argumentos del diseño inteligente y de las constantes cosmológicas (ajuste fino). Este argumento supuso para Rowe una especie de contrapeso en la evaluación de la evidencia del mal, de modo que se cuestiona si dichos argumentos logran sostener válidamente la existencia de una inteligencia creadora. Se rastrean sus orígenes históricos, se examinan los argumentos a favor y en contra de cada una y se aplica un análisis lógico y probabilístico. A lo largo del examen, se demuestra la invalidez de ambas versiones mediante dicho análisis. Finalmente, se expone una alternativa atea basada en la evidencia del mal como razón positiva para rechazar explicaciones teístas y deístas.
