REVENF embraces universal ethical principles such as contributing to the common good with the contributions that the journal makes to society, equal opportunities to publish articles with the same conditions for authors who comply with the previously established guidelines, rejecting any type of individual or group discrimination, guarantee the veracity of the information provided and transparency in all stages of the evaluation process and publication of the selected articles.
Manuscripts submitted for publication must comply with the ethical principles for medical research involving human subjects established in the Declaration of Helsinki (https://www.wma.net/policies-post/wma-declaration-of-helsinki-ethical-principles-for-medical-research-involving-human-subjects/). The article 36, which refers to the research registration and publication and dissemination of results, states: “Researchers, authors, sponsors, editors and publishers all have ethical obligations with regard to the publication and dissemination of the results of research. Researchers have a duty to make publicly available the results of their research on human subjects and are accountable for the completeness and accuracy of their reports. All parties should adhere to accepted guidelines for ethical reporting. Negative and inconclusive as well as positive results must be published or otherwise made publicly available. Sources of funding, institutional affiliations and conflicts of interest must be declared in the publication. Reports of research not in accordance with the principles of this Declaration should not be accepted for publication.”
REVENF requests that every research to be published must have previously met the requirement of being evaluated and approved by a recognized Institutional Review Board in the country of origin of the manuscript; the authors must specify the procedure carried out to obtain the informed consent of the people participating in the research and that the anonymity and confidentiality of the people involved in the research were ensured.
The authors who submit a manuscript for publication must sign the declaration of originality, transfer of rights and full compliance with the ethical principles and legislation that correspond to their country of origin. In addition, they must disclose conflicts of interest, as appropriate.
The authors will be responsible for obtaining the rights of reproduction of any material obtained from another source.

Plagiarism Detection
REVENF uses the Turnitin plagiarism detection system as a first filter in its editorial process, before submitting the manuscript for peer review. Plagiarism is understood as the textual copy of part or all of a resource from the Internet where the source from which that information has been taken is not clearly identified. If a manuscript that incurs in plagiarism is found, the document will be immediately rejected and the author sanctioned with at least 2 years in which he will not be able to send documents to the journal for publication.
