Revista Enfermería Actual en Costa Rica has five means of preserving its publications (last updated March 18, 2020)*:

1. Internally, it has storage on external hard disks that update its content every six months with the publication of each new edition.

2. Institutional preservation, all the articles of the Journal are deposited in the Repository of the University Costa Rica, Costa Rica.

3. Long-term preservation, as an accredited journal in Scielo, Revista Enfermería Actual en Costa Rica has access to preserve its articles in CLOCKSS. View: The Keepers Registry.

4. Long term preservation, Revista Enfermería Actual en Costa Rica participates in the PKP-PN initiative that allows the deposit and preservation of their articles in LOCKSS. View: The Keepers Registry.

5. Legal Preservation: According to Costa Rican legislation: Printing Law (No.32, July 12, 1902) and Law on Copyright and Related Rights (No. 6683, October 14, 1992, Art. 106); Revista Enfermería Actual en Costa Rica makes legal deposit of its volumes and issues published in the National System of Libraries (SINABI) in PDF version.

In addition, the complete assertion of the Journal is deposited (in its version PDF) in the profiles of Revista Enfermería Actual en Costa Rica in Mendeley.
