Open access policy

Revista Enfermería Actual en Costa Rica (REVENF), provides open, free, immediate access to its content under the principle of free availability of research, aimed at the scientific community, as well as the public that is interested in the topics covered by the journal, in order to promote the exchange of knowledge and scientific production in the field of nursing at a global level.

Open access: The authors do not have to pay for the processing of articles, nor for the submission of articles (There are no charges for submitting an article for review or for its processing). Readers have free access to articles immediately after publication.

Readers can freely download, read, store, copy, print and search the articles without prior permission from the editor or the author and distribute the final approved and published version (post print) of the article, as long as it is perform without commercial purposes, no derivative works are generated and the source of publication and authorship of the work is mentioned.

The articles published by REVENF are shared with a CreativeCommons BY-NC-ND 3.0 license (Creative Commons Attribution – NonCommercial – SinObraDerivative) from Costa Rica.
