Funding sources and sustainability model

Agronomía Mesoamericana is a journal institutionally edited and funded by the University of Costa Rica. Its operations are supported by the Office of the Vice-Rector for Research of the University of Costa Rica through project No. 736-92-721. This institutional sustainability model enables the journal to operate under an open-access model without charging article processing charges (APCs). Therefore, authors are not required to pay any fees for manuscript submission, peer review, editing, layout, or publication. In addition, access to published content is free of charge for readers.
