Funding Sources and Sustainability Model

Agronomía Mesoamericana is an open access scientific journal published by the University of Costa Rica. Its operation and sustainability are supported by institutional resources provided by the University of Costa Rica through the Vice-Rectory for Research and the Fabio Baudrit Moreno Agricultural Experiment Station.

The journal operates under a diamond open access model. Therefore, authors are not charged for manuscript submission, evaluation, editing, or publication, and readers are not required to pay to access published content.

The editorial activities of Agronomía Mesoamericana are carried out within the framework of institutional project 736-92-721, affiliated with the Vice-Rectory for Research of the University of Costa Rica. This sustainability model supports free access to published content and the journal’s editorial management, peer review, editing, production, and dissemination activities.
