Abstract
Strategic Alliances or Joint Ventures between enterprises in emerging and develop countries is not highly researched topic in management literature. Just one document has established the importance of such alliances ((Hitt, Levitas, Arregle and Borza, 2000). This paper argues that the pursuit of technological and finance resources are the primary incentive for enterprises in emerging countries to look forward such joint ventures. This document provides a state of the art on the subject, and highlights the importance of this topic for the internationalization strategies for small and medium enterprises
