Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic has generated a global crisis in which populations such as homeless people have been left unprotected. However, every crisis represents an opportunity for growth, in this social case. For this reason, the following reflection article aims to describe the opportunities that the COVID-19 pandemic represents for homeless people. For its fulfillment, three opportunities are considered: formation of a humanistic-altruistic system, provision of a development environment, and promotion of a caring human relationship. It is concluded that this health emergency is an opportunity for the approach and recognition of the rights of people in street situations.
