Consumo y calidad del forraje Trypsacum laxum de un año de edad en cabras

El expe rimento se ejecutó en la Estación Expe rimental Alfredo Volio Ma ta de la Universidad de Costa Ri ca ubicada a 1.542 msnm, durante el último trimestre del 2007, con el objetivo de determinar el consumo y la calidad del pa sto Trypsacum laxum de un año de edad, suministrado sin ningún proceso de pi cado en tres tratamie ntos (7,5 %, 10 % y 12,5 % del pe so corporal), a cabras lecheras. El mayor consumo en kg/día se presentó con el tratamie nto 1 (2.200 kg/día) (p < 0,01), pe ro la composición nutricional entre tratamientos no mostró diferencias significativas (p > 0,05), mantenie ndo niveles de proteína cruda acep tables (8,45 a 8,87 %) pa ra un materia l de tal grado de madurez.Downloads
