Abstract

This study analyses the book entitled Sí pero no: Fabián Dobles and the Postcolonial Challenge written by Ann B. González. Following the structure of the text, topics such as identity and subversion turn into thematic axes that help study Dobles' narrative and help visualize a postcolonial discourse that offers new perspectives to interpret the prose of the famous Costa Rican writer.
