Abstract

This paper exposes and contrasts the space concepts constructed by multifarious Renaissance philosophers and divines. Its aim is to reconstruct the process by which space became conceived, by Renaissance philosophers of nature, as immaterial, quantitative, continuous, homogenous and isotropical reality.
