Abstract
Both the title and the incipt agree to offer the same prospect of reading the novel: put the puzzle and the search space which develops the work and urge, in turn, to the unraveling of a revelation which remains unknown. Also, these paratexts introduce the reader in an atmosphere of intrigue, deceit and conspiracy, which portends that an event occurs of the greatest importance: the death of Sophia Medero of Medero, event from which originate the other events (mainly political) making up the text.Comments
