Abstract
The present article analyzes Daniel Gallegos ́s incursion into the novel, Punto de referencia, a rewriting of the playof the same name. Set in the 60's and in the context of the revolution, it is proposed that the work documents not onlythe emerging culture of a socially boiling sector, but the many inconsistencies of the Eurocentric, elitist privilegedsystem that it intends to carry out basically in terms of personal relationships, but only as a transgressive, hardlypragmatic proposal; hence the failing aproach.
