Editorial Management Statistics

The following statistics summarize the editorial activity recorded by the journal since 2019.

Manuscripts received: Manuscripts submitted to the journal for the first time.

Resubmissions after preliminary evaluation: Corrected versions of manuscripts that, following preliminary evaluation, were rejected for failure to comply with editorial requirements and were subsequently resubmitted to the journal with the requested corrections.

Rejections in preliminary evaluation: Manuscripts rejected before being sent for peer review.

Rejections after peer review: Manuscripts rejected after being evaluated by external reviewers.

Total rejections: Sum of the rejections recorded during preliminary evaluation and after peer review.

Note: The data correspond to the editorial activity recorded during each year and do not represent closed manuscript cohorts. Resubmissions after preliminary evaluation do not correspond to new manuscripts. Likewise, rejection decisions recorded in a given year may correspond to manuscripts received in previous periods. For this reason, the total number of rejections in a given year should not be used to calculate a rejection rate based on the manuscripts received during that same period.
