Abstract

This article analyzes the development of the right to salary, conditions of its establishment, particularly its influence on the emergence of public employment, its introduction in Costa Rican law and its manifestations. Finally, we examine the relationship between State transformations in the late 20th Century and its manifestations in the right to salary.
