Abstract
This article discusses the principles of environmental justice, an approach and practice
that works recognizing humans in their permanent placement in the environment. As
such, its understanding of environmental issues first passes through the understanding
of the social and political inequalities that produce them. Also, it analyzes the different
schools of thought and disputes that exist within the environmental field. Furthermore, it
seeks to link the study of environmental conflicts to the study of territories and the various
territorialities that coexist within them.
