Abstract
In this article is made an approach to the relationship between social categories important
in studies of current thinking. The aim is to provide an overview of the relationship
nationalism-culture in the area of the Cuban Republic. Emphasis is placed on the work of
the origenists, being one of the most far-reaching generations in thought and literature of
the stage.
