Abstract
The concept of family is in transition; it´s no longer the union of a women an a men and
their children, now days we can find families with only one parent, extended families and
those formed by same sex couples. The objective of present article is to show the state of
the international research on the issue of lgbti families. It was made by case study of current
literature review. Principal results are that parenting skills of a person beyond their
sexual orientation, hence the various families can follow a more normative heterosexuality
which would give course credit.
