Abstract
The abandon of the central sectors and unbridled expansion of the peripheral ones in the
city of Montreal is an urban phenomenon in xx and xxi centuries’ that threatens the local
residential satisfaction and quality of life. This research conducts on the central sector
of the city a survey to evaluate that problem in terms of the residential satisfaction and
importance as quality of life (qol) subjective and objective indices from a linear correlation
perspective (spss).
