Abstract
The present article intends to study the dynamics of sociopolitical unrest in the Costa Rican countryside during the period 2014-2018. To achieved this, the data collected by the database of collective actions PROTESTAS was used; hence, it was concluded that during the study period there have been four axes of conflict that have articulated this type of conflictuality: 1) agricultural and fishing production; 2) the capital-labor relationship; 3) the environment and natural resources; and, 4) the land-territory.
