Abstract
This article has the objective of describing and analyzing the struggle experiences of the nicaraguan pensioners social movement from its origin until 2017. A participative methodology was used based on the interviews made to 57 members, which were carried out at the end of 2017 in 9 departments of the country. Also, documentary sources were
analized. The findings highlight the establishment of a solid organization at national level, the impact on public policies such as old-age pensions and the inclusion in institutional spaces with the State.
