Abstract

This article is a first approach to the differentiated consumption of foods among the workers that participate in the construction of the railroad and the banana production in the Costa Rican Atlantic area, before the strike of 1934 in order to know if such a consumption contributes in the construction “identitaria” of the diverse human groups that participate.
