Abstract
This article presents a brief study of metaevaluation as a subdiscipline. Different sections of the article discuss works and ideas proposed by forerunners in the field. The article aims at identifying a method and instruments conveying applicability and pertinence for evaluation of evaluations. Given certain characteristics of relevant evaluation products, namely reports and accounts, tools and disciplines designed for text interpretation, such as hermeneutics, are finally chosen.
