Abstract
Transparency is conceived as a quality of the ways of life of democracy. However, these are not transparent per se. So that, based on language games, human beings try to discover the exercise of political power. Therefore, in this work it is proposed to grasp the meaning of transparency following the perspective offered by Ludwig Wittgenstein, for which some linguistic actions related to transparency are identified and described, whose task provides an alternative way of analyzing the phenomenon in the democracies of America Latina.
