Abstract
The objective of this article is to discuss about the relationship of the School of Social
Work of University of Costa Rica with international organizations during the decades of
1950-1960. For the development of this study, a documentary analysis of sources such as
books, files, correspondence and minutes of the School belonging to the aforementioned
period was carried out. As part of the results, the influence of this relationship is
observed in some courses of the 1954 and 1965 curriculum of the School.
