Abstract
This article presents a reading of the poem 'Arte Poetica' by Jorge Luis Borges, developing theoretical aspects that relate to the analysis of poetry. ‘Arte Poetica’ describes the work of the poet and what it means to write poetry, which is understood by Borges as an act and as a creative process.References
