Resumen
Este estudio tiene como objetivo realizar un estudio bibliométrico con el que se puedan identificar tendencias temáticas y/o el estado del arte de la investigación sobre turismo de base comunitaria. En los últimos años se ha intensificado la atención sobre el crecimiento de la actividad turística, especialmente en el desplazamiento de visitantes que abandonan su lugar habitual para conocer nuevos lugares en busca de aventura, ocio, descanso, investigación y cuidado de la salud. Para este estudio, el tema ("turismo" y ("turismo comunitario" o "comunidades tradicionales")) fue seleccionado de la colección principal de Web of Science. Se encontraron 370 documentos en el período de 1995 a 2021. Con el estudio de palabras clave, es posible resaltar que temas relacionados con el desarrollo, el ecoturismo, la resiliencia y las desigualdades, pueden sugerir que la agenda de investigación comienza a buscar explicaciones que pueden hacer que el turismo traiga ahorros a través de visitantes a contenido de visita más simple, como contenido basado en la comunidad.
