Abstract

This article presents an experience of qualitative research on the meanings and perceptions of "family" as well as some of the experiencesthey experience in their homes, teens eleventh year students of public schools in the provinceHeredia.The theoretical starting offer an alternativefor understanding new families as ainteractional space relationships, and of great educational value in the human construction of women and men.From their own reality, this group of young, clearly suggests the conception they have on your family, the needs it fills in their lives, the difficulties of family life, and above all, the typefamily that they would like their own.
