Abstract
This paper reviews the International Symposium on China Studies effectuated in Pacific Headquarters “Arnoldo Ferreto Segura” at the University of Costa Rica during the June 18th and 19th, 2012, and organized in collaboration with the Confucius Institute and the Puntarenas Chinese Association. This activity brought together scholars from different countries dedicated to the different topics related to China, mainly regarding its development and influence in the world and the integration of Chinese immigrants in Latin America.
