Abstract
This article constitutes a critical review of a book edited by dr. miguel ángel quesada pacheco about a dialectological perspective of central american speech. the study includes the seven central american countries: belize, guatemala, el salvador, honduras, nicaragua, costa rica, and panama. it is part of the linguistic-ethnographic projects of the central american atlas. all the body of research has a similar methodology and shares similar instruments of analysis. furthermore, the phonetic transcription code is uniform in all the studies that are included.Comments
