Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.-
The submission is original, it has not been previously published, nor is it being considered by another journal at the same time. There is no plagiarism or redundant publication. In other words, the manuscript is a unique contribution to the body of knowledge (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).

If accepted for publication in this journal, publication is mandatory.

The text adheres to all style and bibliographic requirements as indicated in the instructions for authors, which may be found in About this journal.

If you are submitting to a journal section subject to peer review, make sure to follow all instructions under Ensuring a Blind Review.

The manuscript conforms to the provisions of the Declaration of Helsinki developed by the World Medical Association: ethical principles regarding human experimentation (see english document)
With the exception of narrative and systematic reviews, metaanalyses, or essays and opinion papers, the manuscript must explicitly include, in the methods section, the following sentence: “Signed informed consent was obtained from all participants prior to data collection and after the study protocol was reviewed by [NAME OF THE INSTITUTIONAL ETHICS COMMITTEE] and approved on [DATE] according to document [DOCUMENT NUMBER]”. In the case of animal studies, the sentence should read: “This study followed current standards regarding the protection of animal research participants from the institution where the study was conducted.”

I have signed and submitted the letter of originality and copyright transfer, which can be found at the end of this paragraph or on the Journal website on the right menu "Documentos y guías". The letter must be scanned with the respective signatures and uploaded to the journal manager in step #4 "Upload supplementary files". The author should fill the letter in her or his native language, in case of colaborative manuscripts, the language chose will be from the correspondence author The letter can be found here: Copyright letter.

The manuscript includes the sample size (n) and descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation) for all key variables. This is necessary just in case other authors would want to use our information in a future metaanalýsis.
