Convergencia de la literatura comparada y los estudios culturales

Abstract

The following paper establishes a comparison between the academic fields known as Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies. Taking into account the views of various comparatists and other scholars from social sciences, similarities within the definitions of these two disciplines, their use and impact, socially and culturally are discussed.
