Abstract
In this article is analized the cultural impresson from European, Asian and Afro-Caribbean immigrants in the conformation of the Costa Rica identity. A Historiographic investigation over the ethnic, cultural, economical and social contributions of the sucesive migration to the country from Europe, Asia and Africa and how molded the Costa Rican national identity and take part in the esential development of the country extending througout the period of 1840 to 1940.
