Abstract
The article aims to carry out a study on the social construction of the Térraba indigenous territory through of the methodology of life stories. Three communities were selected: center Térraba, Murciélago and Las Parcelas. Three collective stories were made (one in each community) and stories from several key individual informants were collected. The results show how the landscape of this territory has changed as a product of the work,daily life activities, and social struggles from 1940-2015.
